Ruth and Daniel: Engagement

Bonding over grits...never something I could have guessed when it comes to being a photographer. There's something about siting in a completely packed diner, talking over all the hustle and bustle... Andrew and I met Ruth and Daniel at Destin's finest: The Donut Hole. {Side note, for anyone who's never been, you're seriously missing out} It was a very early morning and we all showed up a bit groggy. But after an AMAZING breakfast, we headed out into the sunny chill of this bizarrely cold weather.

Now, Ruth is one of those brides that is extraordinary about being on top of details. It makes my job so much easier. She knew everything she wanted on this shoot...I'm pretty sure I laughed behind the camera more then they did in front of the camera just watching how the two interact together. There's just something that watching two people who are totally in love and a perfect fit for one another that just brings a smile to my lips.

Okay, so sidenote on that last image. Ruth had this cute little idea that she wanted to have a photo of her kissing a frog and then the next shot of Daniel where the frog had been. Hello storyboard! How cute is that!
